Scrapage Scheme...£2000 OFF
- In exchange for scrapping your old vehicle and buying a new one the Government and Renault will contribute a total of £2,000 towards the purchase of a new vehicle.
- The scheme starts on May 18th 2009
- The scheme will be available until 28th February 2010, or until £300 million has been spent by the Government (approx. 300,000 eligible claimants), whichever comes first.
- Excludes Channel Islands & Isle of Man
- Includes most of Renaults range excluding Twingo. All subject to availibility.
Eligibility-Old vehicle.
- Cars first registered before 28/02/2000.Vans not exceeding 3.5 tonnes (N1 class) before 28/02/2002
- Claimant keeper must have been registered keeper for at least 12 months before new vehicle order date.
- Registered keeper must have a UK address
- Vehicle must have current MOT certificate
- Vehicle must be clear of finance
- Vehicles which are dealer owned, stolen or insurance write-offs will be ineligible for the scheme.

D.P.Lead & Sons specialise in the supply of new and used Renaults. Under new rules within the industry we now also offer dealer beating fixed price servicing using genuine Renault parts that will not affect your warranty.
A well-established business based in Dover in Kent. The family business has been running for some 40 years. The Renault Franchise was established by Dennis Percy Lead (hence the D.P.Lead), then passed on through the generations.
In 2003 we made a decision to become an independent specialist, the investment required to meet the new, stringent dealer standards would have meant a higher labour, less competitive vehicle prices and a more corporate attitude, none of which we felt would be a benefit to our customers.
Two brothers Martin & William Lead now run D.P.Lead & Sons Ltd, now re branded with the LEAD+ logo rather than the Renault diamond, they have a combined experience of over 30 years in a main dealer franchise.

Servicing
We can service all makes and model of motor vehicle, we are specialists in repair and maintenance of all ages of Renaults, we use genuine parts and the correct grade of semi/fully synthetic oil, having your vehicle serviced by us when it is under 3 yrs old will not effect you new vehicle warranty, it will however save you money. We offer a menu style fixed price servicing for most Renaults.
For all makes of vehicles over 4 yrs old we also offer fixed price servicing
New Vehicles
Our core business is the supply of new vehicles, we act as an agent to you (the customer), all vehicles are sourced from UK main dealers
Nearly New & Used Renaults
We normally hold a stock of around 20-25 nearly new and used vehicles, if you are after something in particular, using our experience and contacts in the motor trade we can search for a particular vehicle for you. Because we buy so many new vehicles from main dealers, we have privileged access to hundreds of their nearly new stock vehicles, available to you on a quick turnaround.
