The petrol range starts with two 1.6s with either 99- or 109bhp. Then there are two turbocharged petrols, a smooth and punchy 1.4 with 129bhp, and a 2.0 with 178bhp. There’s also a 138bhp 2.0 that’s only available with a CVT transmission. The diesel line-up includes 85- and 105bhp 1.5-litre units, or there's a 1.9 with 128bhp. There’s also a 2.0 diesel that has 158bhp as a manual and 148bhp as an automatic.

Entry-level Extreme trim supplies air conditioning, but most buyers will upgrade to Expression, which adds electric rear windows. Dynamique versions have alloys, automatic lights and wipers plus cruise control, an upgraded stereo with auxiliary input and Bluetooth, along with sat-nav. Privilege models have dual-zone climate control and electrically folding door mirrors, among other items.
